I can't help it, but I have a soft spot for this wild woman.
We had to wait several years, but she will be back with a new album "Calling From The Stars" very soon. A teaser in the form of a brand new free mp3 is now available.
The first Kittin song I heard was Frank Sinatra (a collab with The Hacker) and I couldn't believe the cruelty of the lyrics.
The song is about bored snobs in VIP areas, sniffing, drinking, having sex and laughing when they found out Ol' Blue Eyes passed away. It was a huge underground hit and rightfully so.
Her collaboration with Felix Da Housecat "Silver Screen" was just as great and more folks got to know Miss Kittin. She developed a huge cult following.
Her first solo album "I Com" was released in 2004 and featured a personal favorite; "Requiem For A Hit" (I beat that bitch with a hit!)
After a few mix-comilations and her 2008 album BatBox (which includes "Kittin is High") her new album "Calling From The Stars" will be released in April this year.
Download the new single "Life Is My Teacher" here. It's a pure electro Kittin track and damn, that's just what we needed after this dreary holiday season.
