Nick Waterhouse - Time's All Gone"Time's All Gone", the debut album of Nick Waterhouse has been released a couple of months ago and seems to gain more and more fans every day.

If you are a Sharon Jones fan, you will like this for sure.
Nick Waterhouse - Time's All Gone
Not much is known about Nick Waterhouse, except that he is a an excellent musician and producer.
He's only 25 years old, looks like the lost grandson of Buddy Holly and I assure you, that by the end of this year, he has made a huge impact on the music scene.

Now let's get back to the album "Time's All Gone". When I heard the first tracks, I thought they gave me an obscure rare groove album or an early Phil Spector production. When the doo-wop of "I Can Only Give You Everything" hit the speakers, I was sure that I was listening to a new Daptone release. But I was wrong again. Track six "(If) You Want Trouble" is pure Rolling Stones r&b / rock 'n roll. What the hell am I listening?

Folks, remember the name; Nick Waterhouse.

Although the album sounds like a lost gem of the early 60s, it is brand new and most of all, it sounds bloody original. Nothing fancy, just pure rough, emotional and sweaty music. "Is That Clear" is an ultimate Tarantino track. Damn, I admit, I fell in love with this album.

You know what, if you are a fan of Sharon Jones, Mark Ronson, Amy Winehouse, early Rolling Stones, Kitty Daisy and Lewis, New Orleans, Memphis or just a music lover like myself; buy it now. The vinyl release is next week (V2 were lucky bastards to sign it for the Benelux). Make sure to check out "Innovative Leisure", Nick's label. I heard some upcoming stuff and it is definitely in the same league.
